Environmental policy

We are committed to minimising our impact on the environment and being conscious of our use of the world’s resources. Specifically:

• Uniquely in our sector, all our operations will be carbon neutral by the end of 2011
• We will send no operational waste to landfill from any of our facilities by the end of 2011
• We will work with key sub-contractors to minimise waste with a target of reducing total production waste by 10% every year
• We will reduce our energy consumption by 5% a year.

Our commitment to environmentally-sustainable products and practices was formally recognised when Nimlok (UK) became the first company in the industry to meet the internationally recognised ISO 14001 environmental standard. In February 2010 Nimlok (USA) became the first company in our industry in the USA to achieve ISO 14001:2004 certification and one month later, the Orbus Exhibit & Display Group achieved the same recognition, as did Ultima Displays Limited in May 2010.
